The biggest and baddest version of Need for Speed yet, according to EA. Get rewarded for bad behavior and trick out your cars with even more speed.

In this game, there's only one top spot on the Most Wanted list. And your rivals are out to stop you any way they can.

If you have never played Need for Speed before (it could happen), the basic premise is that you race to evade the law. And cause as much mayhem as humanly possible on the roads.

In Most Wanted, you are trying to outrun the cops and clash with other street racers. Better still, you have a fantastic selection of cars, from an SRT Viper GTS to a Hummer, and more besides.

Ruling the roads and scaling the heights of the Most Wanted list takes skill and deduction. Win, and you can earn points to modify your car to give yourself a competitive edge over your rivals. Or you can trade up to a better car once you have earned sufficient Speed Points.

Technically, Need for Speed: Most Wanted on mobile is an impressive accomplishment. However, if you are used to the console format, you won't be disappointed by the game's porting to smartphones. The graphics are class, and the action is just as intense as previous NFS outings.

How to use

Need for Speed: Most Wanted needs a lot of storage space. Android users will need to give up at least 1.9 GB, while iOS users are looking at 2.1 GB.

You also need superfast data or play the game exclusively on WiFi for full effect.

The game is downloadable from Google Play and Apple's App Store, where it earns 3.9 and 3.8 out of five ratings, respectively. This is almost certainly due to the lack of updates; the last Android update, for instance, was in December 2018.

That said, the game still runs impressively on most recent phones despite the apparent car neglect by the developers. That's supposed to be your job!

Android users need to run Android 4.1 or later, while the iOS version requires 8.0 or later.
