Where to begin with this game? The name pretty much says it all.

If you are carrying a little extra in the love handle department, you will find this game at best cringey to downright insulting.

Though there was an update in July 2021, you kinda get the impression even the developer is a bit embarrassed now.

Perhaps the greatest surprise about this game is that Google Play is still hosting it.

Especially so since the developers have evidently washed their hands of the game almost entirely.

Go to the Vood● website, and you won't find any mention of Fit 2 Fat on the homepage. Or anywhere else. Even the site blog contains zero posts about Fit 2 Fat. It's like they wish the game hadn't even happened, and they are now trying to airbrush the whole episode out of existence.

Clearly, Fat 2 Fit is the black sheep, a regrettable tone-deaf misstep they now want to go away. But, given their other great games, Fat 2 Fit is somewhat of an aberration.

This makes the recent Fat 2 Fit update and Google's continued hosting of the game especially curious. Particularly as there's no link to the Google Play Fat 2 Fit download page on the developer's website, unlike their other games.

So what gives?

Presumably, Vood● is picking up enough in-app purchases to make it worthwhile keeping Fat 2 Fit updated. But given the absolute zingers dished out by Google Play reviewers, there's a hard-nosed business decision going on here.

While the main thrust of the criticism is directed at the game concept, there is an equally vocal contingent complaining about the number of adverts. Many say the level of ads being run throughout the game verges on making it unplayable.

There are also reports of Fat 2 Fit being quite laggy at times, though this is likely to be down to the player's internet connection. It's probably not the servers being hammered by traffic.

How to use

Should you wish, and it's difficult to fathom why you would, Fat 2 Fit is downloadable from Google Play.

The `game' requires 94 MB of storage space and Android 7.0 or later. The game was developed by French gaming studio, Voodoo.

The Google Play reviewers of Fat 2 Fit have been scathing in their feedback. So it's a little surprising that Fat 2 Fit even managed to scrape a measly 3.2 out of five.
